Sophia and I wanted to say thank you for the wonderful time we had at your farm. It was awesome we both had a great time working our horses through some tough spots, It gave all of us great confidence. Silver like the ball the best, Sophia loved the big tires. We are in if you have another fun day! Thank you again!

What a beautiful place you have. Yeah it’s not all gussied up like a million dollar horse barn… but the WORK you do is awesome and everything is made to work and to train horse!!! We can’t thank you enough for all the time you spent with us (me) asking stupid questions on your down day… but am looking forward to coming back!

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that Tucker has settled in wonderfully. I took him to an organized charity ride out of state just two days after I got him and could not have been more pleased with his behavior and performance. He gets along so well with all the other horses he meets and has no problems being first, last, or in the middle of the group on a trail ride. That's a pleasurable and new experience for me! The two of us are already logging valuable hours not only on various trails but in the ring as well. Tucker is game no matter what I ask of him or where I take him.

Well folks I did it. Never thought I could. Did'nt even think it was possible. But, if it can happen to me than it can happen to you to ! I have always dreamed of having the "perfect horse" . I wanted the "Cinderella Story" and the handsome Prince that came with the dream. After looking time and time again and still finding myself on the ground watching the beautiful tails on the "BACK" of those beautiful "PERFECT" horses running off across the field, I was just about to give up. Well, I was on a mission and just couldn't quit yet.

Hi Leisa! Thank you, thank you, thank you for selling me Dixie. Could not ask for a better horse, she is everything you said she would be and more. Although I've only had her a few weeks, I already know she is a permanent member of our family. It was so nice meeting you, hopefully we will see you soon in uwharrie! Happy Trails, Kelly Waters and Dixie

Buying a horse from Leisa was an absolutely positive and wonderful experience. It's so nice to work with honest, personable and communicative professionals who go above and beyond expectations. Even after the sale was complete she continued to work with Geronimo to prepare him for our daughter, while we prepared our home for him. He is now at a professional training center (more for us than him) and everyone who has met him has commented about his remarkably pleasing and agreeable nature. Clearly a result of skilled and loving training. A great horse from a great trainer.

Leisa, I just wanted to say, thank you so much for the time u spent putting a great foundation on River. For being only 2 yrs old, he is turning out to be a very well behaved and smart horse. He is doing great. I am looking forward to sending him back to you next year, after spring, for a refresher. I can't thank you enough, Leisa. Happy hollidays from my family to yours. We hope u stay safe and warm through the winter. Thank you again, Leisa.

Leisa, We just wanted to say Thank you for all you done to make sure that we got that special new "family member" that was right for us. It is nice to know that some people still go that extra mile and you can count on what they say. We will be making another purchase from you soon! I am thankful for people like you that just don't try to "sale horses" but place then in special forever homes that are a partnership for life.

Thank you for our wonderful mare- Kix, Leisa & Chris! She is such a well trained and calm horse for only being 3 years old. We couldn't have asked for a better horse to add to our herd. She was just what we were searching for, and it couldn't have been a better ending to a horse shopping day! We look forward to purchasing more well trained horses from you in the future. Take care! Sincerely, Eric & Caitlin... and of course Kix.

We are now living in Arizona, for as much moving around she has done in less then a 6 month time she adjusts great, from your home, to mine on the Carolina Coast now across the country to the sonoran desert. She's adapted beautifully, you truly do an awesome job with these horses, I can tell with how well rounded she is. Everyone here loves her, she stands her ground and is still a love bug

Just wanted to let you know I took China to the beach yesterday for the first time, she was great, she was calm, and we even got her front hooves into the ocean. She's a dream...she puts up with whatever test I put her thru with a willing and curious attitude, I am lucky to have such a great mare.

We had bought sadie mae from you for my husband and really liked the way she was trained. Decided to send my 8 year old mare to you for extra training to get her to where she should be, and I am so glad I did. She is doing awesome! Neck reins, side passes, follows instead of leading me, and so much more. I am very happy and would recommend you to anyone. Great work! Thanks so much, kim

China has been quite the attraction at the barn, everyone wants to check out the new girl who loves to be loved on. Everyone loves her personality...she's been great on the trail and is learning she's got to walk a bit slower so her new trail buddy Target can keep up. She's such a love! Hopefully ya'll can come down to the coast to ride sometime. :) Katey

Hi Leisa: Cherokee has settled in well and is doing great, we had a really good ride this weekend and in a very noisy crowded environment and he is exactly as described, I really enjoyed riding him... Thanks!!!

Leisa, Rode Secret about 2 hours yesterday after she was delivered. She did absolutely great. Even Cheyanne was calmer than usual even in the cold, wind and rain. They did great overnight with no problems. Your horses are exactly what you say. Thanks again.

Great personality and I am so greatful it turned out I got him.... delivered, site unseen and couldn't ever found a nicer, well trained horse! Ridden all my life and as a retired horse shoer, wish I had found Bud long ago! Great Job Leisa!

Hi Lesia, THANK YOU for Cody!!!! For my first horse he is so gentle and is getting along fine at his new home. Had some issues with the mares as they didn't like the little fella. But we got it all straightened out. Your training is wonderful and everyone at the barn is commenting on him!

Labor Day weekend....so much great riding! I rode Rocky, a 3yr old stud colt and River the 4yr old red roan. Please understand, I'm an "ex" experienced rider, haven't ridden in a few years and those two horses were just wonderful. Calm throughout the day, went anywhere I asked and did whatever I asked of them. I recommend everyone to buy a horse from Hanging Hat Stables!

Good Looking Web & Horses. I love to see good, sound Old West type horses and training! Been looking for a bay trail horse and Bud is a prospect. How long has he been for sale?

Hey Leisa: Checked em all out - we are planning our route for trip now - we are kind of fly by the seat of our pants travelers - so havent exactly decided what day we are leaving but I will get in touch with you and let you know make sure it fits your schedule. Do you by any chance train other peoples horses - side passing, backing?
